Welcome to RuinMoto. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RuinMoto website and your purchase of products from RuinMoto.

By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing a product from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website, you represent that you are legally permitted to use the website and make purchases or that you are using the website with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

You may not use our products, website, or services for unlawful purposes or violate applicable laws while using our services.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where reasonably necessary, including suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing or inventory errors, or violations of these Terms.

2. Products and Product Information

RuinMoto makes reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe its products.

Product colors, appearance, specifications, compatibility, packaging, and other characteristics may vary slightly from photographs or descriptions displayed on our website.

Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is compatible with their bike, e-moto, battery, controller, motor, or other equipment before purchasing unless RuinMoto expressly confirms compatibility in writing.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted except where permitted by applicable law.

If an obvious pricing, product-description, or technical error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue any refund required.

Customers are responsible for applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges disclosed during checkout.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We may cancel or limit an order due to product availability, suspected fraud, payment problems, incorrect product or pricing information, shipping restrictions, or other legitimate business reasons.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

5. Shipping and Delivery

6. Returns and Refunds

Purchases are subject to our separate Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

For eligible returns resulting from buyer's remorse, ordering the incorrect product, compatibility mistakes, or another customer-caused reason, RuinMoto may deduct a 15% restocking fee, meaning the customer will generally receive 85% of the eligible product purchase price.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable where permitted by law, and customers are responsible for return shipping on customer-caused returns.

Products must satisfy all eligibility requirements stated in our Return & Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms or our Return & Refund Policy limits any refund, replacement, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

7. Electrical Components and Installation

E-motos and their components can involve high-voltage electrical systems, batteries, motors, controllers, and other equipment capable of causing property damage or serious injury if improperly installed, modified, maintained, or operated.

Customers are responsible for following manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements.

Installation, modification, tuning, or repair should be performed by a qualified person when appropriate.

RuinMoto is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, incompatible components, improper charging, improper storage, or operation contrary to manufacturer instructions, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

8. Vehicle Use and Local Laws

E-bike and e-moto laws vary by jurisdiction.

Certain products sold by RuinMoto may not be legal for use on public streets, sidewalks, bike paths, trails, or other public property in every jurisdiction.

The customer is responsible for determining the laws and regulations applicable to the ownership, registration, modification, and operation of their vehicle.

A product being available for purchase from RuinMoto does not represent that it is street-legal in the customer's location.

9. Warranties

Products may be covered by a RuinMoto warranty, manufacturer warranty, or no written warranty, depending on the product.

Any applicable written warranty will be governed by its stated terms.
